With guests from all over the globe including one who flew from Australia just for the weekend - this was truly an international affair held at the Castelnau des Fieumarcon, Gers, south west France.

The heat was unrelenting but with the fantastic events team of La Boutique Events supplying constant water…..and rosé everyone remained happy if not a little warm and a party atmosphere was evident which was the goal of the couple.

I photographed and filmed throughout the day but moments that stood out for me were the father and bride’s family preparing the Poruwa for the ceremony, the beautiful ceremony where each member of the immediate families were very much part of the process, S’s sari which was intricately decorated with shiny beads, the graciousness of this very camera shy couple whenever I needed to get photos of just the two of them, the fun atmosphere throughout the apero and into dinner, the speech - just one! I loved that haha. The FABULOUS dress that the bride changed into before dinner which was quite frankly a show stopper with feathers and sparkles and shiny turquoise shoes, the music, the dancing, the fun. Oh and last but not least the kids who were doing race laps around the dinner tables - they were like lightning and the sun was just low enough to back light them with golden halos as the little angels sped past.
