covid lockdown films
Here are a collection of short family documentary films I found myself compelled to make during the initial lockdown period in France.
I used three different cameras (Fuji, Nikon and DJI Osmo pocket) and was even interviewed by Neale James on the Fujicast Podcast which was great fun as it has since become a favourite and the Facebook community of which is one of the kindest.
I think these films will have great value for my family - or at least, for the children I have who still live at home. I wish I had thought to document our lives sooner but better late than never.
Pick up your cameras and press record from time to time. You will never regret it.
Family documentary
Our family documentary during the covid19 crisis.
5 days in the life of our family during the covid19 virus. The first week at home after schools are closed. President Macron enforces self and family isolation by ordering that everyone stay home and if you need to leave for shopping you have to complete a form. You can leave to do some exercise but no further than 500m. Arrest or a fine of up to 135 euros if you go against this. Numbers of confirmed cases climb.
Part 2 of my family documentary. The first weekend and Macron closes all bars and restaurants from midnight on Saturday across France. Meanwhile in the country side we force the kids to go for a walk.
From 20h on Thursday 12th March 2020 when President Macron addresses the French nation this is part 1 (day one) of our story during this time.
