La Romieu - Collegiale st pierre

We were privileged to be able to have this shoot in the cloisters, garden and towers of this incredible historic site. If you are ever in Gers, it is a must visit. The small town, in reality a large village, is also beautiful.The couple, from the United States, have a connection with Europe and France so it made sense for them to arrange for their wedding (and pre wedding) to happen in gers. They will be marrying at another striking site - Castelnau des Fieumarcon around 10 minutes from La Romieu.I was so glad to be able to meet the couple, get to know them a little and hopefully make them feel at ease in front of my camera. I think they did really well! As with most of my shoots of 2025 there was a lack of nice light but who needs it when you are in such wonderful surroundings?location : eglise collegiale saint pierre, La romieu
