la cannonerie
last year brought me back to la cannonerie for a couple of weddings. The first had been planned since 2019 and finally went ahead in may 2022 and the second wedding came about as i stood in for a fellow photographer and I was very happy to do so.
other than the beautiful facade of the main house the place i love the most is the oak lined avenue where there is colour & shade and movement. either side are vineyards and gentle hills. It is a beautifully calm place.
not all the accommodation lies within the courtyard. there are a couple of houses which look outwards towards the fields and close the avenue.
on 30 hectares, La Cannonerie is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside.
